Our Newburyport facility is currently searching for an Inspector/Calibration Technician.Inspector/Calibration TechnicianSUMMARY:The job description pertains to duties associated and included with this particular position, but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Duties and responsibilities of a QC Inspector position apply
    • Perform and document first piece, in-process and final inspections
    • Inspect incoming materials and hardware
    • Provide technical support to other departments, as needed
    • Must follow documented procedures
  • Duties and responsibilities of a Calibration Technician apply
    • Verify and maintain M&TE (Measuring, and Test Equipment)
    • Ensure on time calibrations and maintain documentation
    • Maintain the bonded gage area and log
    • Interface with Outside Calibration sources, Production, Quality Control and Engineering
SKILLS:
  • Microsoft Suite computer skills required
  • Blue Print Reading
  • Good Math Skills
  • Mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years Quality Inspection experience a plus
  • Knowledgeable of calibration systems and calibration database management
