Our Newburyport facility is currently searching for an Inspector/Calibration Technician.Inspector/Calibration TechnicianSUMMARY:The job description pertains to duties associated and included with this particular position, but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Duties and responsibilities of a QC Inspector position apply
- Perform and document first piece, in-process and final inspections
- Inspect incoming materials and hardware
- Provide technical support to other departments, as needed
- Must follow documented procedures
- Duties and responsibilities of a Calibration Technician apply
- Verify and maintain M&TE (Measuring, and Test Equipment)
- Ensure on time calibrations and maintain documentation
- Maintain the bonded gage area and log
- Interface with Outside Calibration sources, Production, Quality Control and Engineering
SKILLS:
- Microsoft Suite computer skills required
- Blue Print Reading
- Good Math Skills
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of aerospace quality requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 to 2 years Quality Inspection experience a plus
- Knowledgeable of calibration systems and calibration database management
