As a Receiving Inspector, you will work hands-on supporting multiple production centers in Courtland Alabama through the inspection and processing of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical parts and systems.What will you be working on?•You will be Inspecting products/materials for our production centers that are from approved LM suppliers or other LM sites and will validate the workmanship, dimensions and ensure documentation conforms to the product requirements.•You will disposition parts for test or outside inspections based on inspection plans or program requirements• You will perform acceptance or rejections and generate non-conforming documentation (Q-Notes) for hardware that does not meet product specifications or requirements•You will perform inspection and handling of Hazardous materials/chemicals•You will perform inspection and handling of Ordnance material •Support other areas of Quality as required •Other tasks as assignedThe position will be eligible for overtime as needed.To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin champions an inclusive work environment that encourages differences and big-picture thinking. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
