Job Title: Inspector Location: Clearwater, FL Zip Code: 34677 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Schedule: 3:30PM EST - 2:00AM / Mon-Thurs Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 /hr DoE Keywords: #QualityEngineer #InspectorJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed Cable Inspections. * Uses various measuring devices. * Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. * Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. * May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a US Citizen * Candidate has a strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections. * MUST have experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards. * Requires prior inspection experience. * Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. * A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. * Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues. * Proficient with Personal Computers. * Must take and pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide. * Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas if needed. * Experience with Cables and able to identify non-conformances IAW IPC-A-620, & specific other requirements. * May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. * Communicates effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues. * Must be detail-orientated and proficiency at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. * Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. * Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management when resolving quality issues. * Proficiency with using Personal Computers and newer applications.Benefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available. * On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
