PeopleLink Staffing in partnership with a prominent client in the plating manufacturing industry in Evansville, IN is looking for a driven individual to join their team. Hours: 7am-4pm Pay: $17.00 ROLE: RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF INSPECTING/RACKING INCOMING AND OUTGOING CUSTOMER PARTS DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- PRE-CHECK AND POST-CHECK OF ALL CUSTOMER PARTS BEFORE AND AFTER PLATING PROCESS.
- RACKING AND UNRACKING OF CUSTOMER PARTS
- CHECK TRAVELERS FOR PROPER CUSTOMER SPECIFICATIONS PER PURCHASE ORDER OR QUALITY STANDARDS
- VIEW AND BE ABLE TO READ CUSTOMER PRINTS AND SPECIFICATION SHEETS.
- OPERATE CALIBRATION EQUIPMENT AND DETERMINE READINGS OF PARTS.
- ABLE TO RUN ANY INSPECTION EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO JOB ASSIGNMENT.
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 40 LBS.
- MAINTAIN ALL NECESSARY INSPECTION LOGS OR RELATED DOCUMENTATION AS REQUIRED BY COMPANY OR FEDERAL OR STATE AGENCIES.
- WORK DIRECTLY WITH PLATERS, LOGISTIC COORDINATOR, PRODUCTION MANAGER AND PLANT MANAGER TO ACHIEVE THE BEST REASONABLE OUTPUT OF PARTS.
- AT ALL TIMES MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION AND BEHAVIOR.
- ANY OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
