Inspection of fabrication, manufacturing, coating, and surface operations at Alfab Inc. and sub-contractors' facilities.Personnel considered for classification and employment as Quality Assurance Inspector shall have sufficient education and experience to ensure understanding of the inspection requirements, they will become involved with and meet the following requirements:Shall have the equivalency of a high school education and possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude and knowledgeable understanding of machines, machine tools, welding equipment, and their applications.4.1.2 Shall be able to write legibly, read and interpret blueprints, applicable specifications, and procedures. 4.1.3 Possess the ability to read measuring scales graduated to 1/64 of an inch, use and interpret special tools such as micrometers, dial indicators and gauges. 4.1.4 Shall possess the physical ability to perform the above functions and pass an eye examination to assure natural or corrected near distance acuity such that the applicant is capable to reading J-1 letters on standard Jaeger's test type chart for near vision or equivalent type. Applicant shall also be checked for acceptable color vision. 4.1.5 Shall be familiar with the structural metals fabrication trade or possess other mechanical employment experiences to require minimum training for inspector's classification.ALFAB, Inc. is an EOE/Vets/Disabilities
