Title: Inspectors
Location: Independence, MO
Salary: Starts at $20/hour with increase to $24.53 after successful completion of 120-day probationary period.
Schedule: 4-10s or 36/48 split (depending on department and availability)

Focus: The Inspector is responsible for testing, surveillance and inspections to ensure acceptance, quality and safety of final product. Inspector Essential Job Functions:
- Inspect products and functionality both visually and with gages
- Test and quality audits and acceptance.
- Operate job specific equipment such as simple gaging machines, weight scales, polishing wheel, band saw and other associated equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings and purchase descriptions to ensure standards and specifications for acceptability.
Inspector Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Recent and related experience with quality inspections. Experience with gaging instrumentation preferred.
- Prior full-time work experience preferred; manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and a background check if job offer is received and accepted.
- Ability to use measuring devices, micrometers, calipers
- Ability and willingness to work Weekends, including overtime.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a government driver's license.
Location-Specific Requirements:
- This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
- This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
- This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
