Job Description:

Inspector / Packager I PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Employee is required to inspect, wrap and pack knives in a variety of boxes, tins, wooden boxes. This packaging could also include additional materials such as medallions or coins.
  • Employee is required to carry trays from the storage rack to their work station.
  • Employee may be required to buff surface scratches from knives in adherence to the quality criteria.
  • Employee is required to clean work area daily at the end of the shift.
  • Employee must maintain adherence to safety initiatives while working in his or her respected area in accordance with standard operating procedure.
  • Take instructions from supervisors.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Dependability: Is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Accuracy: Responsible for collecting and disseminating product, warranty, usage information to consumers. Attention to detail is a must.
