(Responsibilities This position is responsible for monitoring machine output, inspecting and packing product in accordance with customer specifications. Some of the job duties include: Having a Safety First mindset Understanding the products we make. Knowing what each product does helps us identify possible defects. Verifying the orders we are running are accurate according to the production schedule. Performing visual inspections at the beginning of each shift and at intervals throughout your shift. Notifying a team member if defects are found is critical so they can be corrected. Keeping accurate documentation in the computer. Assisting other team members in keeping the hoppers supplied with parts. Proper packaging and handling of each order per the customer requirements. Accurately recording scrap and placing the scrap in the proper containers. Assisting in the performance of machine startups, shutdowns and line clearances, and keeping machine downtime to a minimum. Keeping your work area clean at all times Following applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies. Qualifications Manufacturing experience a plus including Inspector/Packer experience.
