A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Receiving Inspector at MKS Instruments, Inc. you will partner with Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, Buyers, and Planners to process inspected components. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:Performing first detailed inspection of incoming or purged parts, materials, components, assemblies, or equipment, and document results.Coordinating the collection and disposition of purged material.Determining or assisting in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection.Working from written procedures, drawings, sketches, and specifications.Adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures where necessary.Skills You Bring:Completion of high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferredFour or more years of related experience.Experience using inspection tools and devices such as: CMM, gages, calipers, micrometers, Keyence microscope, etc.Physical Demands and Working Conditions:Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination.Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 35 lbs.Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at, and above shoulder level.Compensation and Benefits:Hourly Pay Range: $19.95 to $37.07.
