Job DescriptionCTR Group is seeking Installation Assemblers for an Aerospace Company in the West Lafayette, IN area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring! Non-Local Candidates Welcome.Pay Rate: $40/hr. plus $150/day per diem based on 5 days, plus paid travel to and from the job if not local.Need: 2 Technicians for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm), 2 Technicians for 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am)Estimated duration of contract: 6 monthsSUMMARY:These Installation Assembler positions are responsible for finalizing system installation for the aircraft structure, training new team members, and taking an active role in defining our new, state-of-the-art, and climate-controlled production system. Work to include electrical harness installs, installation of fuel tubing, electrical systems, and main components.REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years aerospace systems and installation experience required.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Technical degree or certification in the field of aviation assembly, mechanics, or maintenance is a plus.
- Fighter platform experience is preferred.
- Experience in delivering high levels of quality in compliance with ISO/AS9100 a plus.
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications in written and digital format required.
- Ability to execute the appropriate working methods and select the correct hand tools to achieve the proper level of quality and efficiency.
- Ability to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in an advanced and connected environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as consistently sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, grasping, gripping, standing, walking, climbing, reaching throughout a normal workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (such as lifting or assembly of parts) including the use of handheld power tools.
- Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds frequently, and up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.
- Ability to work extended hours when required.
