Their technology prints onto products you encounter daily, from beverage cans to household goods, to industrial glass to the cardboard boxes they were shipped in - and everything in between. As an Installation Engineer, you will travel to locations including customers, vendors, and company offices. The travel is Monday through Friday, and mostly home on the weekends. You will learn to install high-end industrial printers and accessories at customer sites. You will provide technical (product) and health and safety training to customers; therefore, you should have incredible communication skills. Technically, you are well-rounded in electronics, electrical systems, and basic mechanical aspects. The installation does not require you to fix their systems, but understanding how they work to troubleshoot and perform quality inspections is important. Your soft skills should be prepared, professional, and diverse as you will interact with managers, operators, maintenance staff, and other people in your daily communication. It would be best if you were timely in your written, verbal, and electronic responses and could close the loop with questions when needed. Professionalism is the key to success in this role. A minimal amount of your role will be as a backup to help repair systems as back-end coverage for the service team. The travel will be national in scope. Although the company is hiring in regions, you can be in more than just. Your travel will be weekly, and mostly home on the weekend. All travel will be provided as you will rent vehicles, and more.
