In this critical role, you will oversee construction laborers and trades and be hands-on when required during installation. This position requires frequent travel, both domestically and internationally, so candidates must be able to travel without restrictions and maintain all necessary travel documentation. *** This position is remote, working on job sites across the US and globally. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Installation Site Foreman, you will:
- Install interior and exterior prefabricated products accurately and precisely.
- Travel globally for installations, sometimes on short notice.
- Supervise construction staff, contractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure on-time completion while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
- Address challenges effectively through communication and collaboration.
- Conduct site visits and surveys, evaluate fabrication and installation methods, and perform daily inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Serve as a liaison with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their vision is realized.
- Support our in-house fabrication teams when not on site, providing valuable installation insights.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, assessing project requirements and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
- Maintain no-restriction travel status for frequent local and international travel.
ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years site management experience in demanding construction environments.
- A wealth of construction expertise, with proven ability to supervise union and non-union subcontractors in construction.
- Proficiency with construction tracking software.
- A strong understanding of building codes and a meticulous approach to safety regulations.
- Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- A relevant degree (e.g., Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a knack for strategic planning.
- A valid driver's license and spotless driving record.
- Experience in client-facing roles and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Hands-on fabrication experience (e.g., finish carpentry, metal fabrication, etc.).
- Commitment to project success, including a readiness for frequent domestic and international travel.
