Installation TechnicianOur customer is looking for Installers for full-time positions in the window and sunroom departments at their manufacturing facility in Oakmont, PA. This company manufactures windows, and these positions would be for employee owners through ESOP. The workplace environment is relaxed and employee centric. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with industry safety standards.
Responsibilities- Measure, cut, and fit materials according to project specifications.
- Install windows and sunrooms in new constructions or as replacements in existing structures.
- Ensure all installations are weatherproof, secure, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Diagnose and repair issues with existing windows and sunrooms.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure longevity and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide professional advice on the best products and solutions for their projects.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications and Skills- Proven experience as a window and sunroom installer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with various types of windows (e.g., double-hung, casement) and sunrooms
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong carpentry and construction skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Stamina to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing setting
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

- Pay Rate is $15 per hour
- 1st Shift, M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM
