Day-to-day: We are looking for hands-on technicians to support one of the country's largest security companies. These techs will be responsible for managing a queue of customer requests and driving from location to location to perform installation work. This person will be expected to climb to certain heights as needed for proper installation of equipment, and use various tools as needed to make sure installations are up to customer specifications and our clients' code. Technicians will also be responsible for tracking inventory and equipment properly and reporting back to leadership as necessary. They will also be able to make commission off of in-person upselling while working on residential projects. This position will require technicians to use their own vehicle for travel for the duration of the contract. Once the contractor is converted, they will be given a company car, gas card, a work laptop and a work phone. They will also be given the opportunity for upward mobility with the company with salary increases accordingly. * Hands-on experience with installation, repair, troubleshooting or set-up of devices (security cameras, alarm systems, Network/WiFi, wires or cabling, phones, tablets, ATMs, printers, etc.) * Some technical school training * Prior experience with providing services to electrical systems Prior sales experience (will have the opportunity to earn commission in this role for upselling)* 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role (GeekSquad, Security Guard, Store Manager, Apple Store, etc.) * Current valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation to transport necessary tools and equipment * Customer service skills and professionalism over the phone and in person * Ability to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites on a daily basis Comfortable with computers, basic Microsoft Suite, Smartphone devices (mostly for documentation and scheduling)
