J & R Metal Fabrications, a reputable custom welding shop established in Jupiter in 1987, is currently in search of a skilled Decorative Metals fabricator. Position Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for the precise fabrication of custom aluminum railings, gates, trellises, doors, stairs, spiral staircases, and other ornamental metalwork for a diverse clientele comprising both residential and commercial entities. Key Responsibilities and Required Skills: Proficient use of essential hand tools such as measuring tape, straight edge, drills, port-a-ban/band saw, shop saw, core drill, laser, level, etc. Ability to interpret shop drawings, execute project layouts, fabricate components, and ensure project cleanliness. Maintain meticulous project documentation. Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective prioritization skills. Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project completion efficiently and accurately. Strong communication skills are a must for effective interaction with clients and colleagues, multitasking, quick thinking, and handling physical workloads. Requirements: Possession of a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, adherence to a smoke-free and drug-free workplace policy (including jobsites), and successful completion of a background check.
