SALES COORDINATOR:Big C Lumber is currently seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator for our Installed sales department in South Bend, IN. Primary role for this position is to help coordinate and support all aspects of the Installed Sales Department, which manages window and exterior door replacement and installation.Sales Coordinator Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer proposals and quotes
- Ensure accounts receivables are maintained to current levels
- Process sub-contractor invoices for payment
- Prepare purchase orders and receivers for stock & special-order material
- Schedule flexibility to meet with prospective or existing customers within their timeframe for service calls or questions
- Possess the ability to do some light duty field work on jobs such as replacing hardware, installing screens, possibly hanging a storm door when required
- Set up, invoice, collect, and close out a Bistrack Contract Job
- Actively help manage material and labor costs for all jobs awarded
- Communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers
- Perform any special assignment/projects as required by the contractor sales manager, general manager
- Adherence to all safety and fire regulations and anti-theft procedures
- Promote a positive image of BIG C
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to coordinate as well as work in a team
- Ability to adapt to in-house software
- Strong communication, math and problem-solving skills.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Clean driving record and the ability to visit a jobsite as needed
- Team player
