HouseSmart Construction - Installer IIIHouseSmart's Installer III position works to assist the Crew Chief and team with efficient and set the setup of homes daily. This role is an essential part of the setup process and is responsible for owning numerous construction tasks independently, oftentimes helping train and support other team members.
What You'll Be Doing:- Collaborate with the Crew Chief and team with daily tasks on the manufactured home site - what needs to be done, who is doing what, etc.
- Help the team in everchanging, daily projects with responsibilities such as prepping and cleaning the jobsite, basic masonry work, leveling of the home, installing door bars and supports, electrical and plumbing crossovers, removing tires, axels, and tongues, and other hands-on construction tasks.
- Haven't done some of these tasks before but have construction experience to help you learn these quickly? No problem - we'll train you.
- Help the team and new hires with learning the daily responsibilities and how to safely do the job at hand.
- Safely learn to operate and eventually lead and own the operation of specialty heavy equipment.
- Learn to own roofing responsibilities which include doing hingers, flashing, shingles, and ridge caps.
- Assist the Crew Chief with quality and accuracy checks and ensure trucks, loads and, equipment are organized effectively and tied down securely to ensure safety of all before operating the vehicle.
When You'll Be Doing It:- Full-time, Monday through Friday
Pay:- $19.00 - $22.00 an hour
- Paid weekly
What Could Make You a Great Fit:- You have 2+ years of various residential, commercial, or industrial construction experience.
- You enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors.

- You enjoy coaching and helping others learn a trade. You're a team player with a positive attitude.
- You have operated heavy machinery such as a skid-steer, tractor, backhoe, or a front-end loader and have a desire to operate specialized heavy equipment.
- You are comfortable with heights (using/safely climbing a ladder) and crawl spaces and can lift up to 50 lbs.
- You enjoy problem solving and have the ability to think outside of the box when it comes to construction projects.
- Quality is important to you along with working on a team to complete the project at hand.
