Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as a part-time Instructional Aide in our Automotive Technology department. This individual will be responsible for assisting students and instructors in the areas of automotive technology to include electrical, brakes, engines, transmissions, etc. This position is part-time/non-exempt.Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe facility which includes organizing materials/supplies.
- Perform clerical duties in support of the department.
- May assist students in a lab setting.
- Ability to conform to an established work schedule.
- Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to use personal computers.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion.
- Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job can be performed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Automotive Technology Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
- Basic Computer Skills
- Excellent work ethics and customer service
