Requirements / QualificationsUnder general supervision, to assist teachers in the instruction and care of young children by directing various learning and developmental activities for individuals and small groups; perform routine clerical tasks in support of the instructional program; and to do other related duties as may be required.Child Development Association Credential CDA, Minimum of eighteen months working with children, Knowledge on how to provide classroom support to three and four- year old children, Current certification of CPR and First Aid, and Ability to communicate in written and oral English correctly and effectively Must perform a variety of instructional, clerical, and other student-related work as may be required. Candidate must have an AA or 2 years of college (48 units).
