Education Aide working with students with disabilitiesHave you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.7 hours a day17/hour10 month positionMenands School is looking to fill an opening for an instructional aide for the 2024-2025 school year.Instructional aide duties may include:Assisting teachers with classroom management and instructional activitiesProviding individual or small group support to students with special needsAssisting with personal care and hygiene needsAssisting with challenging student behavior and monitoring progressCollaborating with teachers and other professionalsAssisting with classroom set up and organizationHelping students with communication, mobility and daily living skillsMaintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for studentsPreference will be given to candidates with experience and a strong desire for working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities with intense management needs.Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
