Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Full Time Instructional Designer to join our Design and Development Team team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr. Summary: The instructional designer will work as an integral part of the design and development team within the Chickasaw Nation Training and Career Development Division. This position is responsible for the assessment, design and development for eLearning trainings, including online interaction and engagement within a course, as well as development of training activities, marketing collateral, video editing and other training assets using a variety of multimedia tools. Responsibilities: * Develop instructional design campaigns for training programs, including determining project goals, defining objectives and clarifying content structure within the constraints of the project * Create instructional materials that meet learners' needs * Design and develop engaging and effective learning content and activities for adult learners * Conduct reviews of deliverables to ensure they meet accessibility and brand standards * Design eye catching graphics for online trainings, microlearnings, presentations, booklets, flyers, handouts and other training materials * Collaborate with team members and internal customers, brainstorming ideas for training campaigns and marketing strategies * Manage projects and tasks through digital project management tool * Assist with internal learning management system (LMS) needs, including loading SCORM files onto the LMS and assist with technical concerns related to course material * Complete all training requirements and participate in continuing education opportunities * Be punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics * Adhere to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards * Maintain knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and standard operating procedures for assigned area (e.g., MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles) * Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: * Ability to adapt to new technological environments * Ability to judge interactive concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others * Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Must be able to exert analytical and critical thinking skill * Must be detail-oriented * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies * Proficient in Articulate 360 * Strong understanding of design and advertising solutions * Ability to multitask * Organizes work and assigned area logically and orderly * Must work under hard deadlines * Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management * Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management * Proficient in creative writing for proposals and ad copy Skills: Essential: * Proficient with Adobe Acrobat suite of products * Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience: Nonessential: * 5 years directly related experience Education: Essential: * High School, GED or Equivalent Nonessential: * Bachelors Degree in directly related field * Masters Degree in directly related field Nonessential: * Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field and five or more years working in an instructional designer role with responsibility for end-to-end creation of instructor-led and/or e-learning materials * Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field and two or more years working in an instructional design role with responsibility for end-to-end creation of instructor-led and/or e-learning materials Credentials: Essential: * Pass gaming background check * Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position * Standard Driver's License Working Conditions: Essential: * Fast-paced * Mix of office/non-office settings * May work where cigarette smoking occurs * May work in loud or noisy areas * Infrequent travel * Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach * Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp * Listening and hearing ability * Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception * Sometimes lift and or carry up to 25 lbs * Pass pre-employment drug test * Hybrid
