Job Profile: Staff Instructional Designer Job Description Summary The Instructional Designer is responsible for content development of end-user product instruction across all media platforms for the user guide, in-app instruction, package inserts and training materials. Are you passionate about ensuring that people with diabetes have simple and effective diabetes management solutions which improve their health and well-being? The Instructional Designer will help make this a reality by developing the instructional design strategy and vision for our products and developing requirements that will be pulled through in content development and user experience. This position has a strong collaboration with and coordination with stakeholders including technical disciplines, regulatory, clinical, medical affairs, and commercial and marketing functions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs, define learning objectives, and design comprehensive learning strategies that align with the organization's training and education goals.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning content, and to incorporate industry best practices into the design of learning and leadership development programs.
- Contribute to the design and development of innovative and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, in-person and/or virtual instructor-led training, simulations, video and electronic assets, and other learning resources.
- Drive the implementation of best practices in instructional design, adult learning principles, and the use of technology to enhance the learning experience and drive measurable outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, feedback, and data analysis, and continuously improve training programs based on insights and feedback.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with the goals and objectives of the business.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in leadership development and adult learning to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field creating educational, or technical materials for a medical device manufacturer.
- Must have ability to understand medical, clinical, and technical aspects of diabetes management and drug delivery products.
- Healthcare/life sciences experience required.
- Diabetes experience preferred.
- Mobile Application experience preferred.
- Experience in a content management system preferred.
Additional Information - This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
- Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business need. Must be able to perform job functions effectively while traveling.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
