The Instructor NT is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities to teach full-time and to provide appropriate service. The Instructor NT may participate in research or creative activities. Description of Primary Duties Teach four undergraduate courses per semester in the areas of design and new media. Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that engages diverse learners. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications An earned terminal degree or the degree required for teaching in certain disciplines is required. Potential or demonstrated teaching ability is required. A willingness to serve the academic unit, college, and the University is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required. Additional Qualifications Candidates must have a masters degree in Design, New Media, Digital Arts, or a related field.
