Participation in service activities within the school, college, and university are also required.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Teaches undergraduate courses in analytics. Teaching includes preparation of course materials such as syllabi, course content, homework assignments, and handouts; evaluation and grading of students' class work, assignments, and papers; maintaining student attendance records, grades, and other required records.Holding regularly scheduled office hours in order to assist students.Pursue opportunities for development of teaching skills and methods.Participates in service at a variety of levels, including school, college, and university.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsA master's degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have a minimum of 18 credit hours of graduate level analytics coursework in order to meet the minimum qualifications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Specialized knowledge of statistics and data analytics as demonstrated through relevant graduate coursework.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds, programs, and colleges.
Preferred QualificationsThe preferred candidate will have professional experience in data analytics.
