The instructor will providequality instruction to students while pursing and maintaining current awarenessof the developments and trends in supply chain management that will preparestudents for the workforce, and ensures the instruction provided supports theCollege's mission.ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Responsible for providing instruction and preparing lesson plans based on established curriculum
- Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner
- Continually promotes students' development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, customer service, computation, problem solving, and decision-making
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- MSSC Certified Logistics Technician (CLA & CLT) Instructor certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related supply chain discipline or related business field
- Significant related experience may substitute for education
- Minimum of five years of experience in the related field

- Ability to use a wide variety of teaching methods to promote learning
- Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)
