Position Summary: The Instructor Support Assistant responds to the needs of instructors and union members. Performs special projects as necessary. This is a part-time position (up to 10 hours / week).Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to and between training sites, primarily on weekends (vehicle required)
- Deliver books and other materials
- Ensure classrooms meet TF standards
- Assist Instructors in the Administration of TABE/BEST tests for students on site
- Attend Union District and Membership meetings as needed
- Prepare weekly report on activities
- Support retention efforts by contacting no shows, administering surveys, etc.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager with member outreach projects as needed;
- Assist the Site Manager with recruitment projects as needed;
- Assist the Site Manager by performing enrollments, transfers, etc.[JC1] in Docebo
- Assist with Member communication via Docebo (reminders, class details, updates, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS.
Language Skills:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Ability to work independently as well as work as a member of a team
- Good interpersonal and client service skills
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
Other Requirements
- Knowledge of the Southern New Jersey geographical area and ability to travel between sites, preferred
- Bilingual English Spanish, preferred
- Ability to work permanent Saturdays schedule
