Job DescriptionDescription:The calibration technician is responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment. Ensures that all instruments, meters, and test devices are calibrated correctly and perform accurate readings. Complies with the Policy and Quality Manual (QM), Description of the System of Calibration (CSD) of MPC, and the internal work regulations.Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as:Electrical EquipmentDimensional EquipmentIndustrial / Mechanical EquipmentTemperature EquipmentRF/Optical EquipmentMechanicalRequirements:Valid Driver's LicenseBasic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipmentExperience in basic instrumentation and manual toolsBasic mathematics understandingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in MS Word and ExcelAbility to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior TechniciansAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistanceTrainingWe accept applicants new to the calibration industry who are eager to learn.Work EnvironmentWork performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities with up to 25% out of town, overnight travel.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, along with FSA2 weeks vacation and 6 days sick time annuallyAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at Micro Precision without regard to protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
