- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and analysis of DCS, PLC, and process control equipment. Prior experience and proficiency with industrial automation systems is strongly preferred for efficient problem resolution.
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance on all major equipment, systems, and emergency backup systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain detailed and accurate equipment files, logs, and drawings for all designated equipment to support future troubleshooting and repairs.
- Forecast spare part requirements, manage inventory levels, and reorder critical components to ensure continuous plant operation. Assist in physical inventories and identify critical spare parts for long-term reliability.
- Participate in the ongoing administrative maintenance of plant operating manuals, technical references, prints, diagrams, and preventive/predictive maintenance records, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and remove a variety of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, communication systems, and storage batteries, working with electrical systems to ensure system integrity.
- Maintain and test protective relays for motor control centers, generator, and transformer protective functions, ensuring proper interface with relays for system logs, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Complete additional tasks and assignments as requested by the Maintenance Manager to support overall plant maintenance and operational goals.
- Proficient in electrical testing and troubleshooting of motors and other electrical equipment using tools such as megohmmeters, power quality meters, handheld multimeters, and infrared tools.
- Capable of interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, electrical one-lines, and complex technical manuals.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in personal computer applications are required.
- Familiarity with Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and conducting safe work checks to verify zero energy potential is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, while applying creative solutions to unique IC&E challenges, is desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license, ensuring it remains in good standing at all times.
