Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of the area supervisor of the manager.
  • Preform calibrations on process equipment and maintain records
  • Maintain and lead repairs of cookers and process equipment
  • Improve functionality of existing equipment and controls
  • Design/Install control systems
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Assist the Director of Engineering with Capitol Projects
  • Help with day-to-day administration of the Engineering and Maintenance Dept
  • Maintain accurate records pertaining to work performed
  • Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers
  • Other tasks assigned by Supervisor(reports to the Maintenance Supervisor)Skills and Abilities:
    • Experience and working knowledge of chart recorders, RTD's, calibration test equipment, multimeters, PLC's, ability to read electrical schematics, work with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and steam systems on cookers.
    • Write project reports.
    • Proficiency in ladder logic design is a must using Allen Bradley hardware/software.
    • Must have the ability to keep records and information pertaining to all activities.
    • Proficiency in Auto Cad, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project
    • Ability to express ideas and work in a team environment.
    * Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentEducational requirements:Minimum of an associate degree in electrical technology or Relevant degree with three years' experience preferred, higher levels of experience without degree may be considered.Physical RequirementsBody Movements - the amount of time spent performing each physical requirement:

    • 1st Shift -6am-230pm
    • 8-hour shift
