Job DescriptionSirius Staffing is seeking an Instrumentation Maintenance Technician for a Temp to hire opportunity in Bedford, MA. Please contact us today for more information.Hours 7:30 or 8am -4:30 or 5pmKey responsibilities:Inspect electro-mechanical instruments to determine what repairs or adjustments are needed.Must be capable of operating, troubleshooting and rectifying problems with complex instrumentation.Perform repairs, maintenance and calibration as needed on instruments. This position requires proficiency with electro/mechanical and fluidic systems. Many of our instruments are serviced using a computer interface.Interact professionally and courteously with our customers. The Specialist will work primarily with the internal support groups within the company (Sales, Logistics, Tech Service, and Distribution) to provide total customer satisfaction, but may also work directly with external customers.Manage and provide accurate and detailed completion of Work Orders and related documentation.Complete all necessary paperwork within our Customer Relationship Management and ERP systems, including calibration certificates and service reports.Provide customers with appropriate documentation of work completed, including but not limited to Service Reports and Instrument Calibration and Performance Reports.More advanced technicians may be involved in training less experienced technicians.Compliance to all safety and quality regulations.This role requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to lift 50 lbs.Minimum Qualifications:High school Diploma or GEDExperience using standard Windows-based computer applications (Microsoft Office suite)Ability and willingness to learn to use SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceMax business applications that are integral to the daily completion of assigned tasks.2+ years of experience working in a detail-oriented, collaborative business environment.Experienced and comfortable with the use of basic hand, power, and electrical measuring toolsEffective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent of instrumentation/electronics background and chemistry knowledge in the Life Science/Pharma/Food & Beverage fields1+ years of Life Science/Pharma/Food & Beverage instrumentation experience1+ years of field service experience and/or field technician experienceProficient with electronic measuring equipment and basic toolsAptitude and ability to handle difficult customers and situations#J-18808-Ljbffr
