Responsibilities:
- Execute the test firing of rocket engines.
- Program, set up, and operate data acquisition DAQ systems for hot fire testing of liquid rocket engines.
- Perform complex assignments involving the set up and running of data acquisition (DAQ) systems and data reduction software which includes the calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Contribute practical solutions to problems that may arise while completing assigned tasks.
- Perform data reduction of hot fire tests.
- Determine proper connection of test cell instruments to the DAQ.
- Set up and verify test cell instrumentation systems.
- Perform complex modification and repair of electronic systems and components.
- Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gages, transducers, flow meters, and force systems.
- Work to controlled documentation, procedures, and drawings.
- Occasionally work in and around rocket test cells.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- An Associates degree in related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 6 years of related experience OR Four-year technical degree in related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 4 years of related experience.

- Shift is 7am- 3:30pm M-F
- 100% onsite.
