Responsibilities:

• Execute the test firing of rocket engines.
• Program, set up, and operate data acquisition DAQ systems for hot fire testing of liquid rocket engines.
• Perform complex assignments involving the set up and running of data acquisition (DAQ) systems and data reduction software which includes the calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Contribute practical solutions to problems that may arise while completing assigned tasks.
• Perform data reduction of hot fire tests.
• Determine proper connection of test cell instruments to the DAQ.
• Set up and verify test cell instrumentation systems.
• Perform complex modification and repair of electronic systems and components.
• Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gages, transducers, flow meters, and force systems.
• Work to controlled documentation, procedures, and drawings.
• Occasionally work in and around rocket test cells.
