Our company culture guides our success, which is at the core of everything we do.Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Insurance and Billing Coordinator to join our team in our Danbury location. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain knowledge of insurance, specifically how preferred provider organization (PPO) dental insurance plans operateAbility to resolve billing disputes and use independent judgment or little supervision regarding coverage and insurance claims.Ability to communicate necessary information to assist patients with questions in regards to their dental insurance, ledger, and account status.Ensure insurance and patient payments are posted accurately and with attention to detail as funds become available, considering a multi-office environment.Ensure timely collection from insurers, including daily attention to resolving insurance claim issues such as requests for additional information and denialsManage outstanding insurance claimsAbility to prepare, present, and understand financial arrangements and insurance options that meet both patients' and practice's need for proposed treatment plansAssist with financial arrangements for unpaid patient balances, ensuring timely paymentsAssist clerical staff including but not limited to: insurance verifications, pre estimates, research with patient billing concerns, and other insurance issuesAbility to handle multiple deadlines and task assignments comfortably and efficientlyAbility to work both independently and cooperatively in team settingComply with HIPAA and Corporate Compliance program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.Requirements:Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contactKnowledge of dental terminologyWillingness to learn and growDental business office experience, insurance and billing experience is a plusHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Excellent computer skills, Dentrix Ascend experience is a plusReliably commute to the office location in Danbury, CTAbility to work within the office hours of 7:30-5pm Monday through FridayBenefits401(k) with employer contributionEmployee (and family!) dental planFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth reimbursement accountLife insuranceReferral programRetirement planAt Archway Dental Partners, we're committed to supporting you.
