You'll learn firsthand about a financial professional's role and day-to-day work by working as a financial professional for the first year of your career journey with New York Life. We will provide you with complete training, access to digital tools, and a comprehensive product suite.Responsibilities:Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experienceProvide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policiesMaintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to dateAssist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claimsExpand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new businessQualifications:Proficiency with Microsoft Office productsActive Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonusCustomer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valuedPrevious health insurance or life insurance experience a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredAbout CompanyAt New York Life-Irvine, we strive to be the best every day, the same as you.
