Position: Commercial Insurance Sales Representative Location: Harrisburg, PA (Central Pennsylvania) Employment Type: Direct Hire Note: Raizan Solutions LLC does not charge candidates.Must Have: Existing relationships/connections with insurance brokerages in Central Pennsylvania. Minimum 5 years of sales experience overall, with at least 4-5 years of selling commercial lines insurance. Knowledge of insurance underwriting procedures. Minimum 4-5 years' commercial insurance company experience in roles such as Commercial Lines Marketing, Sales, Production Underwriting, Distribution, and/or Relationship Management within the Central Pennsylvania market. Ability to maintain and remain current with producers' state licenses and continuing education credits. Stable work history.Responsibilities: Build and grow relationships with existing and new agency/brokerage distribution partners to secure new business. Match existing agent relationships and books of business opportunities with the company's distribution model. Recommend and appoint new commercial lines distribution partners based on a thorough analysis. Pursue upsell, cross-sell, and recapture opportunities with agencies/brokers. Coordinate new business proposal meetings and present optional plans to agencies/brokers. Lead pre-renewal discussions on key accounts with agencies. Collaborate with underwriting to review competitor plans and ensure the best pricing. Lead annual planning processes and monitor implementation throughout the year. Attend Point of Sale (POS) meetings with agencies/brokers as needed. Assist with contracting, onboarding, and terminating agencies/brokers as required. Maintain agency/broker profiles. Participate in corporate functions, such as corporate giving, chamber of commerce, and marketing events. Requirements: Proven track record in selling standard commercial lines products in Central Pennsylvania. Strong communication skills (oral and written) to explain complex issues. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations. Familiarity with insurance markets, underwriting procedures, and reference to markets. Results-oriented with the ability to meet strategic goals for the assigned territory. Strong analytical, problem resolution, negotiating, and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Professional, committed, and self-motivated, with excellent multitasking and time management skills. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred (High School Diploma or GED required). Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial insurance, specifically in Commercial Lines Marketing, Sales, Production Underwriting, Distribution, and/or Relationship Management.
