Advanced Healthcare Services is looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our growing team. Our office in Springfield provides Home Health services to the local area including Springfield, Decatur, Jacksonville, Chatham, Rochester, Auburn, and many more.

Description:

We are seeking a qualified candidate who is energetic, detail oriented and ready to work in a fast-paced, high quality home health agency. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for the overall intake process of all patient referrals transferred in by phone, fax or by the Marketing personnel. This position involves direct patient contact via telephone, as well as insurance companies and contact with clinical staff. Computer literacy is important for this position. Must be able to accept high volume of calls courteously and follow-up with Insurance Verification department.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent will be accepted with previous experience. Knowledge of medical terminology or health license preferred but not necessary.

Experience:

Previous experience in health care organization (Home Health experience a plus)

• Knowledge of home health software Matrix Care
• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
