We invite you to learn more about our wonderful community: Your Role With Us:Intake Coordinator-Non RN This role involves managing and triaging patient referrals and healthcare provider requests, ensuring accurate entry and tracking of patient information in EPIC, and supporting both patients and staff with non-clinical needs. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, addressing urgent cases, and assisting patients with access to resources like transportation and food services. The position emphasizes delivering empathetic and professional customer service while maintaining departmental organization through clerical tasks such as managing files, calendars, and educational materials. Additionally, it includes providing general support for daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective departmental workflows. Special knowledge, skills, & abilities:* Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully handle multiple and changing priorities.* Proficient with Microsoft Word and GroupWise, working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.* Excellent typing and transcription skills* Excellent skill in correct use of English and grammar.* Skilled at exercising tact and sound judgment.* Strong communications, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service orientation.* Capable of gathering and reporting statistical data.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
