INTAKE LEAD- BEHAVIORAL HEALTH The Intake Lead generates new patient intakes and ensures potential patients complete their initial intake appointments with a clinician. Evaluates the mental healthcare needs of clients and determines eligibility for services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responds to intake calls and completes admission paperwork. Assessments will be completed by RN, LPC or LMSW. Conducts interviews individually or in families to assess their situation and determine types of services required. Tracks all inquiries and resolves issues as it pertains to the intake process. Collects data to help with the referral process. Follows up on referrals by contacting referral sources to collect data. Communicates with referral sources including, family members, legal system, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other treatment facilities Reviews newly admitted patient accounts for eligibility and authorization daily.
