Director of Assessment and Intake (LCSW Required), Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Center We are currently recruiting a Director of Assessment and Intake for The Grove, a premier SUD Treatment Center . THE ROLE The Director of Assessment and Intake performs the evaluation and admission process in conjunction with the on-call physician. The Director of Assessment and Intake directs the assessment department activities and monitors the quality of services provided. The Director of Assessment and Intake must be flexible, with excellent customer service, and be able to review clinical information and present it to the physician on call. He/She must be comfortable with entering information into Medik and Salesforce as well as verifying insurance coverage. JOB REQUIREMENTS To qualify for the Director of Assessment and Intake position, you must have:
  • Must be licensed as a Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Must have clinical experience as an LCSW
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a hospital Intake department; behavioral health or SUD preferred
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
  • Valid driver's license and a favourable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own vehicle.
  • CPR and Handle with Care (HWC) certified within 30 days.
