We are looking for an Intake Specialist I for our team.This is a remote position with potential travel for meetings/collaboration into the FreedomCare hub closest to you.Department & Position Overview:As an Intake Specialist you will work closely with patients and caregivers to educate them on the application and enrollment process. You will be working closely with the Patient's Case Manager, as well as inter-departmental teams within the business to ensure a quick and efficient turn-around time to get them on Care. You will be providing seamless Customer Service experience, while ensuring that our clients are receiving the care they need. You'll pride yourself on your ability to problem solve and take ownership for each customer request ensuring that we always do the right thing for our members.Every Day You Will:Ensure a seamless, complete, and effective enrollment process for all prospective clients into the SFC programBe the initial point-of-contact for calls from prospective clients, caregivers or pending enrolleesManage a high open caseload until the enrollment process is completeConsistently meet monthly completed Start of Care (SOC)Provide exceptional customer service and positive experience for potential patients/caregiverRegular communication with a variety of Case Management agencies regarding patient authorizationsNavigate multiple systems and portals to determine eligibility and obtain authorizationRegularly achieve monthly new enrollee goalsMaintain data input, scheduling, document uploading and initiate patient enrollment confirmation or rejection communicationsIdeal Candidate Will Possess:Experience in high-volume inbound and outbound call environmentMotivated to help patients/caregivers with the drive to exceed open case targets and metricsMust have poise and patience when dealing with clientsExcellent written and verbal skills; ability to comfortably resolve issues over the telephoneComputer proficiency required; strong typing skills and ability to leverage technology to identify, research and solve customer issuesKeen attention detail, metrics driven, excellent time management skillsHigh empathy and collaborative team playerFlexibility and openness as the role and responsibilities may change and/or evolve as we grow!Nice-to-Haves:2+ years of relevant experience in a similar position is preferredHealthcare/startup experienceBilingual in Spanish, or other languages desiredWhy work at FreedomCare?We are here for you and committed to providing a best-in-class employee experience. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $16.00 and $20.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.Salary Range$16-$20 USD
