LOGIN Intake Supervisor (Home Care) New York Health Care DESCRIPTION New York Health Care, Inc. a licensed home care agency established almost 40 years ago is seeking a full time Intake Supervisor/Manager.
This is a full time Monday Friday position which will be in our corporate office located in Valley Stream, Nassau County, NY.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage day to day operations of Intake Department consisting of 5 + Intake Coordinators.
* Ensure a high level of customer service and appropriate follow up with all client referrals
* Ensure and foster a strong working relationship with managed long term care insurance companies
* Maintain strong and effective communication with community outreach representatives and Intake staff
* Develop processes to ensure proper referral receipt, data entry, follow up and effective onboarding of new clients
* Provide comprehensive reporting on referral activity, individual production, case acceptance/denials and overall effectiveness of the Intake Department
Job Requirements:
* Home Care Intake experience
* Prior customer service / heavy phone experience
* Knowledge MLTC/MCO enrollment including Medicaid codes
* Excellent customer service & follow-up skills
* Proficient in Microsoft office
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of HHA exchange software system
* Knowledge of referral sources
* Previous Intake management experience
* Bilingual in English/Spanish
