The successful candidate will contribute to logistics support throughout the system life cycle, from development to sustainment, ensuring mission success for military weapon systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Services: Provide logistics functions and tasks in support of PM TN-related requirements during development, production, and sustainment phases.
- Training Development: Assist in creating and delivering New Equipment Training, Professional Development Training, and Training Simulation programs.
- Human Factors Engineering (HFE): Support Human Factors Engineering, including the validation and verification of training materials and technical manuals.
- Integrated Logistics Support: Participate in Total Package Fielding, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and other key logistics initiatives.
- Logistics Documentation: Maintain and prepare logistics documentation in alignment with Integrated Product Support (IPS) guidelines.
- Supply Support and Provisioning: Assist with supply support, provisioning support, and technical field services.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Contribute to vehicle maintenance tasks and support the Logistics Information Systems.
- Sustainment Transition: Assist in the Transition to Sustainment and participate in Type Classification and Material Release processes for weapon systems.
- Supply Chain Risk Management: Help develop and execute supply chain risk management strategies and plans.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Experience in military logistics, property management, supply chain management, and warehousing.
- Knowledge of training programs, logistics documentation, and technical writing for weapon systems.
- Ability to assist with various logistics support tasks, including provisioning, supply chain management, and sustainment transition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent military logistics experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in military logistics, property management, supply, warehousing, training, and logistics documentation.
- Familiarity with military logistics systems and processes.
