We're looking for innovative, people-first team members who understand that culture is critical in our effort to positively impact the world's transition to a carbon-free transportation future.We are looking for a solutions-oriented Integrated Operations Center Engineer who will be responsible for remotely monitoring and maintaining Voltera's energy & charging systems and facilities maintenance. Our IOC Engineer will be a vital part of delivering industry-leading reliability by identifying issues and crafting and executing corrective action plans. The ideal candidate is a driven, creative problem solver with the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Proactively monitor energy & charging assets for faults, errors, and/or irregularities.
- Remotely diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate vendor support to resolve issues within contractual SLAs.
- Provide phone support to customers, vendors, and field service personnel.
- Collaborate with third party vendors and customer organizations to coordinate issues response and resolution.
- Assist in organizational process refinement.
- Leverage ticketing system and CMMS to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues impacting energy & facilities related systems/equipment.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
MUST-HAVE:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of experience, 2+ of which in an EVSE network operations (NOC) environment
- Experience using ticket and work order management tools (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce, Service Now, etc.)
- Understanding of EV charging technology and system architecture
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve complex problems
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
LOCATION:
Base compensation ($26.00-$43.00/hour | $54,000-$90,000): Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
