Join us in shaping the future of digital health and making a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery.Position Overview: As an Interoperability Engineer at Healthonauts, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless data exchange and integration across various digital health platforms and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain interoperable solutions that enable secure and efficient sharing of healthcare information. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong technical expertise, a passion for healthcare innovation, and a commitment to driving interoperability standards in digital health.Key Responsibilities: Interoperability Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of interoperable solutions to facilitate data exchange and integration between disparate healthcare systems and applications.Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards such as HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR, OpenEHR, IHE, DICOM and other interoperability frameworks to support seamless interoperability across healthcare IT systems.Integration Implementation: Develop and implement integration solutions using middleware platforms, APIs, and other technologies to enable real-time data exchange and interoperability between healthcare systems.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of interoperability solutions to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and healthcare stakeholders to understand interoperability requirements, gather feedback, and drive alignment on interoperability initiatives.Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support the implementation and adoption of interoperability solutions by end-users and stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and interoperability standards to drive continuous improvement and innovation in interoperability practices and solutions.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in healthcare interoperability, data exchange, and integration projects within the digital health or healthcare technology industry.Strong technical skills with proficiency in interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR, OpenEHR, IHE, DICOM), integration technologies (SOAP, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON), middleware (Next-Gen Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Intersystems, Fire.ly, HapiFHIR, Cloud for Healthcare, EHRBase, et cetera), and healthcare IT systems.Experience with healthcare data standards compliance and certification processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated expertise in solution design, implementation, and quality assurance in healthcare interoperability projects.Familiarity with healthcare regulations, privacy, and security requirements related to data exchange and interoperability.Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, processes, solutions, best practices, and regulations.Strategic advantages (and/or): experience with GxP in pharmaceuticals and life sciences.experience in laboratories, biomedical research (PhD) and EHR Systems.Join Us: If you are passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation in healthcare and are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to join our dynamic team at Healthonauts.
