This is a full-time, 100% remote position, scheduled to work Monday through Friday with core hours between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with an on call rotation. Applicants hired into this position can work from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking an Integration Engineer III - (HL7, FHIR, Epic, Cloverleaf) to:
- Lead and contribute to the design, implementation, and management of complex system integrations across diverse systems and applications, ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop and maintain scalable and sustainable integration solutions.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable and maintainable integration solutions, oversee the entire lifecycle of integration projects.
- Address and resolve technical issues, focus on optimizing application performance and ensure robust security.
- Serve as a key player in the integration engineering team, foster a culture of continuous learning, technical advancement, and collaborative growth.
What You Bring
- Solid experience in designing and implementing extensible and reusable integrations between applications.
- Experience with Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf, showcasing your ability to manage and optimize integration solutions within these platforms.
- Expertise in implementing modern integration technologies, such as FHIR and web services, addressing challenges related authentication, security, and error handling.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, capable of designing and creating innovative solutions in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education:
Minimum -
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degreeTwo (2) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree
Preferred -
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field
Work Experience:
Minimum -
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing extensible and reusable integrations between applications
- Demonstrated success managing integration platforms and integration life cycles
- Demonstrated success implementing and leveraging modern integration technologies, effectively addressing challenges related to data consistency, authentication, security, and error handling
- Demonstrated success identifying and implementing improvements in platforms, standards, and processes leading to increased operational excellence, elimination of waste, and reduced technical debt
- Demonstrated success managing and executing medium to large scale projects
Preferred -
- Seven (7) years of experience in integration engineering, including system integration design, development, and management
- Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods
- Demonstrated experience developing integrations using healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and X12
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing APIs using REST and/or GraphQL with a focus on usability and effective data representation
- Experience managing and optimizing integration platforms in Microsoft Azure or cloud platforms
- Experience designing cloud-native services and features to implement integrations in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
- Experience using DevOps tools and practices, including version control, automated build, testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes[WC1][LBR2]
- Experience providing on-call support for critical integration systems in a 24x7x365 environment

- Epic Interface Administrator (Bridges) or other Epic certifications
- Microsoft Azure Administration, Developer, DevOps, or related certifications
- ServiceNow Administration, Developer, or related certifications
- Professional Scrum Master, Developer, Product Owner, or related certifications
- ITIL Foundation or related certifications
- PMP
