The Position The Integration Specialist will be a trusted partner to the Integrations, Deals and Finance Teams. The candidate will facilitate the operational and financial integration processes and playbook from initial contact through post-close integration. This includes but is not limited to licensing, compliance with local regulations, tax filings (federal, state and local), banking, credit card processing, payroll, benefits, transition of accounts payable and post-close onboarding items. The candidate will also work closely with the Operations, People & Culture and IT teams to successfully integrate and onboard acquired practices.
Specific Responsibilities - Manage the integration process and playbook to successfully onboard acquired practices.
- Assist with legal documentation, including state organizational documents.
- Complete tax registrations: federal, state, local, sales/use tax accounts.
- Set up and maintain all required licenses: city, county, facility and veterinary licenses.
- Establish all necessary banking arrangements, including merchant processing, with a focus on working with our existing banking relationships.
- Drive integration process related to the set-up of new hospitals in payroll system.
- Gather vendor listing records at time of acquisition.
- Assist with training of veterinary Hospital Manager on credit card processing and banking.
- Develop and maintain acquisition and integration schedules and timelines utilizing playbook.
- Travel may be required for this role.
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Project Management, or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in accounting, management, paralegal or project management
- Skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Office and other project management tools
- Experience interpreting and completing required statutory filings
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to complete a task or project, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
- Must be willing to travel for on-site integration activities with the acquired entities.
- Organized, detail oriented, positive, energetic, ability to multi-task preferred and cool under pressure
