Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized care that meets their unique needs.Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to the healthcare team and family members.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.Requirements BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support certification preferred.Why Ascension Ascension Seton, a leading healthcare provider in Central Texas, offers a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
