Interactive Product Manager, (Design Lead) Easton, PAGENERAL SUMMARY:The Interactive Product Manager leads design and execution of interactive projects, primarily focusing on mobile apps and games for kids, ensuring they align with the creative vision and standards of the brand. This role involves both hands-on design work and leadership responsibilities, including project management and collaboration with Sr. Software Developer and external partners. The Interactive Product Manager works in partnership with the Sr. Manager, Interactive to determine priorities, project scopes, and creative direction, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve business objectives.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceptualization - Lead conceptualization of new interactive project opportunities, defining scope, user experience, and art direction. Create prototypes with internal development team.
- Design Process - Lead design process of interactive projects, ensuring exceptional user experience and engagement that aligns with Crayola Interactive standards and creative vision. Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine specific project direction and objectives.
- Project Management - Lead development and execution of interactive projects by maintaining project roadmaps/timelines, prioritizing features, defining requirements, and ensuring milestones are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and internal development team.
- Cross-functional Leadership - serve as interactive liaison with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for interactive to enable global organizational priorities across activation, education, licensing, location-based entertainment, sales, product development, and content. Evaluate each opportunity based on business priority and impact, develop ideas into viable concepts, present to Sr. Manager, Interactive for approval.
- Business Impact - Responsible for delivering EBIT contribution of revenue generating assets.
- Communication - Primary point of contact with external partners, clearly communicating objectives, direction, and feedback for interactive projects.
- Licensing - Review and approve licensed partner submissions including concepts, artwork, and final production
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required in Interactive Media, Game Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in creative production, with a broad understanding of mobile game development, including collaboration with engineers, creatives, marketers, QA, and business leaders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage diverse projects, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Ability to prioritize and multi-task as needed.
- Strong insight into the interactive industry, staying up to date with emerging technologies and creative trends.
- Strong insight into user experience design, understanding how users of all ages engage with interactive experiences.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to align, motivate, and inspire team members across various disciplines.
- Proficient with Office 365, Adobe CC, and Project Managent Software such as Jira and Clarizen.
- Basic knowledge of app development tools including Unity, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.
- Preferred: Experience working with licensing partnerships, location based entertainment, or similar industry settings.
