Charles River CFO (CRCFO), has an immediate need for an interim, part-time, CFO to join the Executive Team of our Biotech client. This role will be part-time, 3 days a week, with the opportunity to go permanent.The CFO is expected to cover overall responsibility for the strategic planning,implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company,including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well asnegotiations. The job also extends to obtaining and maintaining investor relations andpartnership compliance. As the key member of the executive management team, theCFO interacts with senior stakeholders and other members of a company.Experience, Duties and Responsibilities At least 10 years of experience in biotech start-up and public companies, with acomprehensive understanding of US and Canada regulations; Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accountingteam; Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of theexecutive management team; Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing thepreparation of all financial reporting; Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceedbusiness plan targets; Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework isembedded and operational for the Group; Establishing and developing relations with senior management and externalpartners and stakeholders; Extensive experience in fund raising, knowledge of US financial markets andestablished relations to global investors and investment banks.Qualifications

- MBA or CPA is highly desirable
- SEC and IPO roadshow experience is desirable
