We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Interim school counselor, social worker, or school psychologist to provide essential support to our middle-level students for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with adolescents and will play a crucial role in helping students navigate their academic and personal challenges. We have been unable to secure a probationary school counselor to fill an unexpected resignation, which has created an October vacancy.Key responsibilities:Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students.Assist students with academic planning and goal-setting.Support students in crises and provide appropriate interventions.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student well-being.Conduct assessments and develop action plans for students in need of additional support.Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions.Retirees and individuals interested in temporary full-time employment are encouraged to apply.
